Stabilizers : Peltex vs Decovil I

On my recent Remy Mini Wallet sewing pattern, I did a research on stabilizers to see what gave the best result.

My personal preference goes to Decovil I, it gives a leather like feel to the wallet with the cuteness of fabric print :)

These are the stabilizers that we recommend.

PELTEX

An ultra-firm, smooth, heavyweight stabilizer from Pellon brand, widely available in the USA and on some other countries.

Pellon® 71F Peltex® I One-Sided Fusible - tested

Pellon® 70 Peltex Sew-in - tested

Note : For the Remy Mini Wallet pattern, Decovil I - Light (the slimmer version of Decovil I) is not recommended for the body of the wallet.
